Demand study on tramway of Leioa

The demand study on the tramway of Leioa carried out by Ingartek Consulting will be analysed in the Basque Parliament next week. The demand study defines which form of transport is the most appropriate for connecting the municipality of Leioa (Biscay) with the UPV (University of the Basque Country).
Ingartek Consulting has analysed the most optimum alternatives in terms of finances, demand and social acceptance in order to connect the Leioa metro stop with the campus of UPV (University of the Basque Country). The study was commissioned by ETS Euskal Trenbide Sarea (Basque Rail Network).
The aim of the Basque Parliament was to find out the existing demand at present, as well as other public transport alternatives.
