Inclusive mobility: designing cities for all
Inclusive mobility aims to ensure that all citizens, regardless of their physical or socio-economic capabilities, have access to safe and efficient transport options. Implementing policies and projects that integrate the needs of all citizens is crucial in a context where unequal access to mobility can perpetuate social exclusion and limit personal and professional development opportunities for many individuals. This involves designing infrastructure that is accessible for people with disabilities, developing affordable transport solutions and considering the needs of vulnerable groups in urban mobility planning.
At Ingartek, we are dedicated to promoting inclusive mobility by developing policies and projects that integrate the needs of all citizens. We assess the accessibility of existing infrastructure, propose improvements and work with communities to understand their specific challenges. In addition, we advocate for the inclusion of universal design principles in all mobility projects, ensuring that cities are accessible and welcoming for all.
