Learn more about the C-Roads Spain project with Ingartek
On Thursday, February 11, Ingartek will participate in a webinar organized by ITS Spain on the C-Roads Spain project. The webinar will focus on the Cantabrian pilot, which extends over 75 kilometres in northern Spain using hybrid communication technologies. The Cantabrian Pilot consists of 3 sub-pilots, deployed in Bizkaia, Asturias and Galicia.
Together with other participants from entities such as the Basque Country Mobility and Logistics Cluster, The General Directorate of Traffic and the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, Isidro Arrieta, founding partner of Ingartek and director of innovation, will talk about the sub-pilot of Bizkaia and the sub pilot of Asturias.
Data exchange
Cooperative ITS (C-ITS or cooperative systems) cover a range of technologies and applications that enable effective data exchange through wireless communication technologies between transport system components and actors, between vehicles (vehicle to vehicle or V2V) or between vehicles and infrastructure (vehicle to infrastructure or V2I).
The C-Roads Spain project aims to provide a coordinated framework of activities for Spanish entities, in line with existing European initiatives, to study the complementarity of hybrid communications (G5 and cellular communications) for C-ITS, analyse the convergence of technologies related to connected and autonomous vehicles and to involve multiple Spanish entities from the whole value chain.
