WHAT ARE THE MOBILITY PLANS FOR WORK IN NAVARRA?

Furthermore, the aim is not only for the initiatives to be public, but also for people and citizens to become aware of them in order to achieve better planning. Among other initiatives put into practice by the Regional Administration of Navarre.
To achieve this, it is important that public transport has the necessary quality to become an alternative to the use of private vehicles. If this is to be achieved, it is necessary to increase supply and also to reduce prices. This is something that is already being done and makes it easier for citizens to access these services.
Within the mobility to work plan, different measures can be included , such as promoting collective transport and the provision of this service by companies. It is also important to provide easy access to other places, such as study or leisure centres, but this is something that is also being worked on.
WHAT MEASURES ARE BEING TAKEN TO IMPROVE MOBILITY IN NAVARRA?
At the moment, and as a practical measure, during the first six months of the year, a 50% discount is being applied to bus journeys that can be considered as part of the commuting plan. We say this, because all users can benefit from this measure.
However, also in other parts of our geography work is being done to improve this issue. For example, there are the Community of Madrid’s mobility to work plans, which among other measures offer discounts on transport.
At the moment, all the mobility aids to work are few, since more initiatives are needed for all these measures to reach citizens directly.
